Forest Park Forever: "Wildflower Walk"

Join Josh Wibbenmeyer, Forest Park Forever Nature Reserve Steward, for an informal, fun and educational plant walk to explore the Park's native wildflowers. Over 500 native plant species thrive within our Nature Reserves, with more being discovered every year. Last year Nature Reserve staff discovered the third orchid species within the park and a new fern species, among several others. Come out for a walk to test your knowledge, or learn about the amazing diversity found within the hidden gems of Forest park, and maybe make a new discovery yourself. All ages and skill levels welcome. The walk will begin at Deer Lake Savanna.
