If it Wasn't For the Women: Women of Color, Behind and Through the Lens

  • Saint Louis Art Museum 1 Fine Arts Drive St. Louis, MO, 63110 United States

Bring your mothers, your sisters, and your friends and join our friends at the Saint Louis Art Museum in the Farrell Auditorium on March 19 to celebrate women in the arts during Women’s History Month at SLAM.

If It Wasn’t for the Women is a free annual program that brings special attention to women of color and their experiences in the arts. This year the focus will be on women of color who are photographers and the ways that they represent cultural identity and gender in their work. Be part of the discussion with artists both emerging and nationally known.
