Today, Forest Park is undergoing a renaissance that is a model for urban parks throughout the country. With all eyes on Forest Park’s restoration, it is essential that we remain mindful of its ongoing care. Many companies in the St. Louis region have come to recognize Forest Park for its economic impact, ability to attract new people to the area and influence on university recruitment. Forest Park Forever is dedicated to thoughtful, expanded use and to the Park’s long-term viability. To achieve success, it is critical that every aspect of the Park be carefully and methodically maintained. Forest Park must continue to be an extraordinary resource for future generations. Forest Park Forever has created a number of corporate giving opportunities that provide visibility with the local consumer and support for the Park’s future. PLANNED GIVING
Planned Giving involves integrating a donor’s charitable gift into his or her overall financial, tax, and estate-planning objectives so as to maximize benefits to both the donor and Forest Park Forever. Planned gifts typically come from a donor’s assets rather than income and usually consist of annuities, trusts, or bequests. It is highly recommended that donors consult with their own tax or legal advisers before making a planned gift. For more information on different types of planned gifts, email plannedgiving@forestparkforever.org
WORLD’S FAIR PAVILION MAJOR GIFT
A new division of the Annual Friends Campaign allows an opportunity to demonstrate support for Forest Park at the World’s Fair Pavilion Patron Plaza and ensure the Park’s future.
Decorative pavers are used to recognize donors of $30,000, $20,000, or $10,000. To help companies and individuals make as generous a gift as possible, the gifts may be made in the form of a pledge with payments spread over a period of up to three years. Gifts may be paid in the form of cash or securities. Using appreciated stock makes giving more affordable. For more information, contact Lucie Springmeyer at (314) 367-7275, ext. 12 or by email lspringmeyer@forestparkforever.org.
