The 21st anniversary of the Hiram W. Leffingwell Luncheon is June 2, 2011 and with it we are reminded that the leadership shown by Women’s Committee members continues to be vital to Forest Park. You can help us accomplish our mission: to restore, maintain and sustain Forest Park as one of America’s great urban public parks for the enjoyment of all – now and forever. That’s a big task, especially when you consider that Forest Park attracts upwards of 12 million visitors a year, more than Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon combined!
Please consider becoming a 2011 Women’s Committee member by visiting our JOIN ONLINE page and entering: WC_Online in the code field. Your tax deductible membership supports strategic goal implementation including the development of park-wide event coordination, improved signage and the completion and maintenance of the dual path system.
We hope you will enjoy this year’s Park-friendly membership benefits including the bookmark with seeds you can plant and a roll-up fleece blanket.
