Celebrating 50 Years of the National Recreation and Park Association

The National Recreation and Park Association is a nonprofit organization that works to advance parks, recreation and environmental conservation efforts that enhance the quality of life for all people – and they happen to be celebrating their 50th anniversary this year!

We were excited to see this lovely video from the NRPA feature several shots of Forest Park, including a few words from FPF's Nature Works Field Coordinator Cassi Lundeen around 4 minutes in.

From the NRPA's website:

During the year, we’ll be celebrating and honoring the enduring power of parks and recreation on conservation, health and wellness, and social equity. We’ll also have many exciting ways for you to get involved in celebrating – after all, we couldn’t have reached 50 years without you, our members and supporters.
