Got an ear for the classics? Join the Missouri History Museum for a taste of the greats. Johann Sebastian Bach, considered by music lovers as the greatest of the great composers, overcame grief and countless obstructions to create music filled with joy and vitality. Maestro A. Dennis Sparger talks about the composer's life, why his music is even more relevant today and how his music has shaped the 75-year history of the Bach Society of Saint Louis Chorus & Orchestra. Of course, music is not all about talk, so two of the Society's gifted Young Artists, accompanied by Sandra Geary, will provide musical examples.
