Did you know that in 1935-36, the City’s greenhouses in Forest Park produced 1 Million plants in a single year? Horticulture has been important to Forest Park since it was founded in 1876. Come learn about the fascinating history of gardening in the Park and learn how horticulture continues to shape the visitor experience. We will be using the book FOREST PARK by Caroline Loughlin and Catherine Anderson as a guide.
