Celebrating What's Right With the Region!

Each year, FOCUS St. Louis honors the efforts of 20 individuals, organizations or initiatives that promote improvements in our community through their What's Right With the Region! awards. We are very excited to announce that our partnership with the City of St. Louis has been recognized this year in the Fostering Regional Cooperation category!

This public/private partnership between the City and Forest Park Forever has become a national model, with cities around the country calling for advice on how to adapt what has worked so well here in St. Louis. Over the past 30 years, together we have begun rebuilding and restoring this great treasure, and we come together year after year to collaboratively maintain and sustain the grounds and historic facilities. It is a uniquely productive partnership, and we are excited that it has been recognized.

The 20th Annual What's Right with the Region! awards are a celebration of that."

Awards are presented in five categories: Demonstrating Innovative Solutions; Fostering Regional Cooperation; Improving Racial Equality & Social Justice; Promoting Stronger Communities; and Emerging Initiatives. The full list of honorees can be found here. We, alongside out City partners, are honored to be among this distinguished group that is doing such great work for the St. Louis region.
