Forever: The Campaign for Forest Park's Future — Select Renderings and a Short Film

On Friday evening at the Emerson Grand Basin, we were thrilled to formally introduce Forever: The Campaign for Forest Park's Future. This ambitious $130 million capital campaign has two central goals: Complete $30 million in essential capital improvement projects in Forest Park, and expand the Park’s endowment by $100 million to secure its place for future generations.

We have been blown away by the tremendous generosity that we have already received from individuals, families, foundations and corporations; together, these supporters have enabled us to raise nearly $117 million toward our goal. More details about the Forever campaign can be found in our official announcement.

The short film below, created by our friends at Once Films, shares a bit more about why the Forever campaign is so important, and what we hope to accomplish in the coming years to make our region's greatest civic treasure even better. Make sure you click HD below and watch it full-screen!

We know this place is special for many different reasons and has played in a vital role in the lives of countless St. Louisans. With that in mind, we are hoping to hear some of these stories and share them through the website whyforever.org. We encourage members of the public to submit their photos, videos, or stories here, or use the hashtag #WhyForever on Instagram or Twitter to join the conversation.
