Forest Park Forever is seeking seasonal Gardeners (March 2019-November 2019) to help care for and maintain over 480 acres of ornamental landscapes in Forest Park.  We are looking for individuals that are reliable, self-motivated, and detail oriented.  A successful candidate should be passionate about efficiently completing the detailed ornamental care required in Forest Park.  This position provides the employee a rewarding experience of completing the critical care necessary for the park, as well as experience in diverse horticultural operations.

Voyage of Learning 3: Lead Teacher (Posted 1/17/19)

Forest Park Forever is seeking an educator with strong leadership skills and a desire to develop other teaching professionals in outdoor education.  The Lead Teacher for Voyage of Learning 3 is responsible for mentoring and supporting student teachers as they develop and execute an experiential education curriculum for elementary-age students.  This role also assists the Education Coordinator in preparing and executing the Voyage of Learning 3:  Practicum.

Nature Works Assistant Crew Leader (Posted 1/17/19)

Forest Park Forever is seeking a Nature Works Assistant Crew Leader for a summer position supervising Nature Works interns. The Nature Works Assistant Crew Leader will develop leadership skills while exposing youth to urban ecology. This 11 week role aids the Nature Works Field Coordinator in completing conservation and restoration work in Forest Park and supervision of Nature Works Interns.

Nature Works Crew Members (Posted 1/09/19)

Forest Park Forever is seeking a Nature Works Crew members for a summer position working to restore and maintain Forest Park’s natural areas. Crew members will work as a team to complete important Park improvement projects. Ten paid internships are available for high school students working with environmental professionals. Applicant must be 16 by the start of the program on June 10th.

Nature Reserve Intern (Posted 1/09/19)

Forest Park Forever is seeking a Nature Reserve Intern for a summer position in land and restoration management. The Intern will assist the Nature Reserve Stewards and Nature Reserve Technicians in day-to-day management activities. Qualified applicants will be a rising college Junior, Senior, or recent graduate with coursework in botany and land management; experience in ornithology and wildlife management preferred. Preferred work term is May to August, but starting and ending dates are flexible. Pay is competitive

Horticulture Intern (Posted 1/09/19)

Forest Park Forever is seeking Horticultural Interns for summer positions in the jewel of St. Louis, Forest Park.  The Interns will work side by side with the Horticulturalists on day-to-day management of two hundred plus acres of land within the Park. Qualified applicants will be current students with coursework in Horticulture/Forestry.  Preferred work term is May to August, but starting and ending dates are flexible.
