Spring Storytime in the meadow
Bring your imagination! Our Education Team host Spring Storytime in Forest Park on Monday mornings this spring.
Storytime is open to children of all ages and their caregivers. This seasonal, outdoor event series is a great way to connect with nature, books and community. Our St. Louis Public Library partners lead stories and songs, and we bring snacks, water and picnic blankets.
Dates: each Monday from March 16 until May 18
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Cost: Free
Location: Anne O’C. Albrecht Nature Playscape meadow (map below)
Travel: Free parking, bike racks and the Concourse/Washington Metro bus 90 stop is near the Anne O’C. Albrecht Nature Playscape
Weather: This program is weather dependent. Please check our park-wide event calendar for cancellations on a specific Monday during the spring, summer or fall seasons.

Read, Play, Grow on April 18
Join us for Read, Play, Grow, a “come and go as you please” outdoor event in Forest Park. We’re filling the Nature Playscape with books, puppets, flannel boards and flannels for you to use as you read with your child.
Grab a blanket, grab a book and connect with nature as we come together to enjoy the simple pleasure sof reading with your child.
Ideal for caregivers of children ages 0-5.

Parking: Free parking is available on streets and in lots near the World’s Fair Pavilion.
Biking: Bike racks are located at two entrances (map below).
Transit: The MetroBus 90 Hampton route has northbound and southbound stops nearby at Concourse at Washington.
