Three Simple Ways to Help Us Maintain the Park on Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday is entering its seventh year on Tuesday, November 27. Did you know Giving Tuesday originated as a way to kick-off the charitable giving season after Thanksgiving? Giving Tuesday is the most significant social media charitable giving day.
Because of the wide variety of charitable giving tools on Facebook (and no fees charged to nonprofits), here are three simple ways we are asking you to help us maintain the Park on #GivingTuesday through Facebook.
1. Create a Facebook Fundraiser for Forest Park Forever by clicking here.
New this year, Facebook Fundraiser creators can match the amount people are donating to their Fundraiser.
2. Go to Forest Park Forever’s Facebook Page and make a donation starting at 7:00 am CST. Beginning at 7:00, PayPal will be matching all donations made to nonprofits up to 7 million dollars.

Forest Park Forever will be posting on Facebook throughout the day with a chance for you to donate. Follow along!
3. Share on social media why you love Forest Park. You can include a donate button on your Facebook post too. See the example below.
