SLAM Underground: STL

  • Saint Louis Art Museum One Fine Arts Drive St. Louis, Mo 63110 (map)

SLAM Underground: STL, a free event, focuses on the unique connection the city of St. Louis shares with the exhibition Catching the Moment: Contemporary Art from the Ted L. and Maryanne Ellison Simmons Collection. Ted Simmons is a Hall of Fame catcher who played for the St. Louis Cardinals, and Maryanne Ellison Simmons owns Wildwood Press located in St. Louis.

Those attending this free event can expand their exhibition experience by meeting local artists Damon Davis and Tom Huck, whose artworks are featured in Catching the Moment.
