As we approach the ideal time for tree planting, Forest Park Forever is preparing for the next stage of tornado recovery. This includes planting hundreds of trees in late fall—more than 2,400 over the next 12 months. 

This fall forest restoration day was initiated by volunteers from the Kennedy Forest Advisory Group (KWAG). Our nonprofit has grown the annual effort into a highly successful event that supports habitat across Forest Park's Nature Reserve.
