Grab your blanket, boater hat, and parasol and get to the Grace Taylor Broughton Sculpture Garden for SLAM’s 1920s lawn party celebrating the exhibition Roaring: Art, Fashion, and the Automobile in France, 1918–1939. River City Swing Out will be on-site to teach swing dance from 4:30 to 5 pm.

About the performers

Sweetie & The Toothaches are celebrating 10 years as St. Louis’ premier jump blues band. The band performs classics as well as original tunes inspired by legends like Ray Charles, Louis Prima, and Huey Lewis.

About the dancers

River City Swing Out is focused on introducing students to the history, culture, and joy of swing, while cultivating a love of jazz and developing well-rounded lindy hoppers. RCSO is all about having fun on and off the dance floor! From our instructors to the organizers, we are a community focused team who are excited to meet you and welcome you to the world of swing dancing.
