Welcome to The St. Louis Tweed Ride 2025! Here is what you can expect. This will be a celebration of St. Louis, cycling and the wearing of tweed, harkening back to days of yesteryear. Bring out your antique/vintage bicycles and don your finest tweed get up for this event. What, no antique/vintage bicycle or tweed clothing? Not to worry then, ride your usual bicycle and wear whatever you have. While antique/vintage bicycles and tweed clothing are preferred, they certainly are not required. HINT: If you do not have tweed clothing, try your local second hand, resale shops, which may have tweed clothing for sale. IMPORTANT: Please go through your bicycle to make sure it is in good, proper mechanical working order for the ride.

We will meet at the Forest Park Visitors Center, Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri where there is plenty of parking. After a short gathering, we will ride our bicycles approximately 10 miles at a slow roll pace through Forest Park with stops for gratuitous photo ops along the way. The route may include some unavoidable hills as portions of FP's topography are definitely not flat. There will also be a very short excursion outside of the park for a wee treat. The route outside the park will be on designated bike lane and slow, low traffic side streets and the two busy intersections out of and back into FP will be navigated with traffic control devises. The ride will return to the FPVC for a wee picnic and relaxation, so bring a blanket and some food and beverages.

In the event inclement weather causes cancellation on Saturday, April 26th, the make-up date will be Sunday, April 27th at the same time (11:00am). Should both days be inclement a later date shall have to be determined. Thank you for your interest and looking forward to the ride!! Cheers all!!!
