The Music of Sly and the Family Stone
Sly and the Family Stone was a groundbreaking American band led by Sly Stone that shaped the sounds of funk, soul and rock. Know for their diverse lineup and influential hits like “Everyday People” and “Dance to the Music,” the band promoted messages of unity and self-expression.

Grab your blankets and lawn chairs, pack your picnic basket, and listen to music under a beautiful Forest Park sunset. Some of the area’s best food trucks will also be on hand each week. Twilight Thursdays are May 7, 14, 21 and 28.
