St. Louis Symphony Orchestra Concert on Art Hill

Celebrate the start of the 26/27 season with friends and family at this beloved annual concert. Music Director Stéphane Denève leads the SLSO in a vibrant program featuring highlights of the upcoming year. Bring your drinks, snacks and chairs and enjoy an unforgettable evening on Art Hill as we usher in a new season of music and community surrounded by the beauty of St. Louis. Performed in memory of Mary Ann Lee.

Please note: Fireworks will conclude the concert. Keep dogs securely leashed.

Getting to the Forest Park Concert

  • Westbound Fine Arts Drive will be closed to regular traffic.

  • Eastbound Fine Arts Drive open only for Saint Louis Art Museum garage parking.

  • Westbound Fine Arts Drive open only for shuttle traffic.

Free shuttle: SLSO will provide a free shuttle service to Art Hill from areas within Forest Park between 4:30 and 9:30 p.m. Access the shuttle at one of the stops listed on the below map.

Food, Drinks and SLSO Merchandise

  • Cold drinks will be available for purchase at the top of the hill on the plaza, and a complimentary water station is located on the grass nearby. All beverage sales are cashless.

  • SLSO merchandise will be available for purchase at the Symphony Volunteer Association tent on the east side of the statue.

  • More than 20 food trucks will be located at the top of the hill in the parking lot east of Art Hill.

Family Fun Zone

Arrive early to enjoy family-friendly activities at the top of Art Hill near the statue. Activities include:

  • Rhythm station

  • Bubble station

  • Parachute dancing

  • Conducting students of the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra and more

Activities begin at 6 p.m. and can be enjoyed up to the beginning of the concert. Also, be the first to pick up your Kids Club card, a membership for kids ages 5–14 to earn special prizes by attending concerts.
