Summer Storybook Walks with St. Louis Public Library and the Missouri History Museum

Dates: June 1–August 31 (see details below)
Cost: Free
Location: Pathway between the Dennis & Judith Jones Visitor and Education Center and the Missouri History Museum
Parking: Free parking is available in the Visitor Center East and West lots.
Biking: Bike racks are located at the Visitor Center and Missouri History Museum entrances.
Transit: The MetroBus 90 Hampton route has northbound and southbound stops near the Missouri History Museum.

In partnership with the Saint Louis Public Library and the Missouri History Museum, the Forest Park Forever education team invites you to a Storybook Walk in Forest Park.

  • In June, read Josephine Baker, written by Maria Isabel Sánchez Vegara and illustrated by Agathe Sorlet.

Participating in these Storybook Walks counts toward your STL Summer Adventure activity prize!

Individual pages of the book are posted sequentially along the path, encouraging visitors to read along while enjoying time in Forest Park! Storybook Walks are self-guided and not weather dependent.
